Welcome to the Literary Cat Books website. Established in 2004 we are a small family business located in Snowdonia National Park. Consisting of Pieter, Emma & the three literary cats, TomTom, Hemingway & Juno. Originally from the Netherlands, Pieter has a background in antiquarian book auctions and set up a small second-hand and antiquarian book business when he came over to England to be with his future wife Emma. Having collected books for some years previous, it seemed only a natural progression for Emma to start working full-time in their book business.

Tom Tom, our very own literary cat, came walking into the Library where Pieter works, one day in 2006, and immediately adopted the nearest herring-eating Dutchman. Needless to say she ended up going home with him after one week, and has set up residence amidst the books, and enjoying life as the official CEO of this company. Hemingway & Juno have recently followed and also possess that uncanny feline ability to locate empty book boxes as preferred sleeping habitats.
