Dispatch
Your order will be dispatched upon receipt of payment. Generally any order for which payment is received before 15:00 will be dispatched on the same day. During the Christmas season any order received before 13:00 will receive same-day dispatch. All books are securely packaged to prevent any harm being done to them in transit.
You will be notified of dispatch by e-mail with an estimated time of arrival. We would appreciate it if you let us know the book has safely arrived.
Should we not be able to fulfill the order within 24 hours you will be contacted by e-mail with an estimated dispatch date. If this is not acceptable to you, or we cannot fulfill this dispatch date, we will provide a full refund.
In case you have ordered multiple items, and not all items are available within 24 hours, books will be held till all items are available, or for a period of 28 days. Should you wish to receive the books in multiple packages, so as to receive them as soon as possible, please specify this in the check-out procedure. This will normally incur extra postage charges.
Postage and packing are specified in our check-out procedure. Any order above 30 pounds will be posted free of charge inside the United Kingdom.
Gift wrapping is available. There is a charge of £1.50 for this service. Please indicate you wish to receive gift-wrapped items during the check-out procedure.
Returns
We will accept any returns of unopened and undamaged items with a no-questions asked refund within 7 days upon receipt of the returned item. Should any book prove to be damaged, or otherwise defective upon opening of the packet we will provide a full refund within 30 days upon receipt of the returned item.
Your Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your name and details will never be divulged to any third party, in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998.
We will use your data to communicate with you concerning your order, and to provide you with the best service possible. We may at times provide you with notice of books that may be of interest to you, or general updates on new books and new catalogues, should you indicate you wish to receive these e-mails during the sign-up process or by contacting our customer service.
We will never contact you by e-mail asking for credit card details or customer details. Any e-mail purporting to do so is fraudulent. Should any problem arise with a credit card, we may contact you by phone.
We will remove your details from our database should you wish us to do so without any question.
Our Service
Should you have any queries, we will be glad to answer them. We are currently able to provide same day reply from tuesday to thursday, and during the weekend.
We provide a full book search service both for new and out-of-print or antiquarian books, which can be found in the main menu or by clicking here. Once we have located your book we will contact you with a quote for the price and upon your consent order the book and send it to your address.
